SHORT TRACK XC Series
We're excited to announce a new training series. The Thursday Night ST/XC World Championship training series will kick off March 15th at 6:00 PM @ Columbia Park. ST/XC mixes single track with double track with a distance of less than 1 mile per lap.
The goal of this series is to get riders out on the bike and have fun. With that said share this with the people you ride with and encourage them to come down to the park and ride! - Riders will perform a predetermined number of laps until reaching the finish line. Lap distance and lap count will change every week as we will feature a new course every week.
- Due to the format of the ST/XC the sport/beginner group will begin every week at 6:00 PM sharp. The open group will follow at 6:30 or once the last rider has cleared the course. Rider meetings will take place at the start line 5 minutes before each event.
- Males and females will ride together in their respective group, however, scored separately in the series standings. Riders will keep 3 of their best 4 scores for the series overall title.
- Please have your Chinook membership completed as this will expedite the sign in process. This can now be done online (above). When at the course please look for the sign in table and ensure to sign in.
