Reimbursement Policy

The following are requirements to be eligible for reimbursement by the Chinook Cycling Club for the 2008 season. The idea is to offset some of the costs of racing and to encourage racers to participate in as many races as possible. All categories of riders receive the same level of reimbursement -- the goal being equitable distribution of support.

Race fee reimbursement policy:
  1. Minimum of 6 events completed to qualify for reimbursement.
  2. Reimbursement shall apply to approved events listed on the 2008 Chinook Cycling Club calendar.
  3. DNF’s shall not qualify for reimbursement.
  4. 80% reimbursement for top 3 finish, or top 5% in field.
  5. 50% reimbursement for all other finishes.
  6. Reimbursement claims shall be submitted on July 1 and December 1 for consideration.
  7. The amount of reimbursement will depend on the size of team and 2008 team budget.
  8. Stage race reimbursement will be based on overall general classification placing.
  9. Team members will be required to wear the 2007/2008 Chinook Cycling Club jersey at all races.
  10. All members who apply for a USCF license must claim the Chinook Cycling Club as their official club status.
  11. Riders must participate regularly in organized club rides or events.
  12. Team members must also contribute a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer time with the Chinook Cycling Club during the 2008 season.
