10-mile; 41 riders. About as good of conditions as we could expect -- not too hot, not too cold, not too windy.
No change in the top 10. The fight for 10th place is getting tighter, though. Stay tuned for final results after the final ride next week.

Hill Climb; 34 riders. Great weather for a hill climb; cool enough to not overheat in the slight tail wind. With only two rides left, the fight for the top placings is getting very interesting.

5-mile; 50 riders tonight! Great turnout. And, as you might expect, we got some wind just in time for the ride. Temp was great, though. Eli pulled himself into the top 10 with a 1st place finish. Some really fast times, too. Guys had to be under 13:00 to be in the top 10 in raw time.

Hill Climb; 38 riders. Reasonably good conditions. Some wind, but just enough to help keep cool. Not that anybody keeps cool on the hill climb. Painter regained the top position. Mark McLean made a giant leap into the top 10. There's still room for change in the top positions.

40K; 40 riders. Not too hot for a change, but a strong, steady wind in the face all the way out. Made for some fast speeds coming in, though. Location seems to be good, with a safer finish line. No one is hanging around the finish, which can be really dangerous for finishing riders. Some missed the landmarks of Badger. Well, there are mile posts to look for.

Hill Climb; 38 riders. Conditions were very good but temp readings on some bike computers were in the neighborhood of 103. Those who rode near the 5:45 start time had a good hot tail wind pushing them up the hill, hence the very fast times. Riders who started near or after 6:30 did not have the tail wind and their times were slower.

40K; 43 riders. Wind and heat took its toll on many riders. As usual, though, some seemed unaffected. Finally, a little shuffle in the top places.

10-mile; 49 riders. Great turnout, good temp, some wind. The wind was changing direction as we rode. Played just right, one could have (almost) had a tailwind both directions.

40K; 47 riders, 1 DNF. Not a bad ride day, but headwinds part way out and part way in. Times were slower because of the winds and the new, rougher surfaces. Temp about 82 with high clouds.

40K (actually more like 37.3288K); 43 riders. Plenty of wind, but that kept the road crew from chip-sealing Badger as scheduled for today. They did do Dallas, hence the shorter route. The results caused some significant changes at the top of the standings.

5-mile; 51 riders. Some really close times tonight. Each second really does make a difference sometimes. Mark Painter came on strong tonight, riding the course three times. We took his first ride for time, as it was the fastest (maybe we should average the three).

Hill Climb; 39 riders. Wow! What a ride! Rain, wind, cold, even some "white rain" at the top (38 degrees). However, for those who were crazy enough to ride, the tail wind was welcome (except coming down). Some good times were recorded.

10-mile, 50 riders. Quite cool and a steady headwind going out. Doesn't seem to matter for some, but I sure have a lot of work to do before it doesn't matter to me. :-)
