5-mile; 43 riders. Some wind, but it was in the right direction, giving a good boost up the hill and back to the finish. Some PRs, with four riders breaking 12 minutes. Burke got his course PR.

Hill Climb; 47 riders. This evening was as good as the last Hill Climb was bad. The wind was at the back, and the temperature was cool enough to avoid overheating, even with a net zero wind speed. Some really good times.

40K; 44 riders. Not too bad a day for the ride. Yes, the wind was a pain, especially the last four miles, but it could have been much worse. We can be thankful we weren't out there the following day! At least this time there were no delays from the Hanford Patrol.

10-mile; 53 riders. Finally, a pretty nice day. As usual, the wind picked up as the evening progressed, but the temp was just right. Thankfully, the thunder storm held off until after the TT.

Hill Climb; 46 riders. I'm glad they are not all like this one. We had a strong, cold, head wind, which got stronger and colder as it got later (one good reason to ride near the beginning of the ride window). It made for some fast returns, though. Mark Painter recorded 54.5 mph.

40K; 45 riders. Strong head wind going out, but very fast on the return. Sorry the Hanford Patrol made the decision to stop the bikes for awhile. Because of the interruption and some confusion on the start location, everyone who participated will get the eight points for the ride, but there will be no place points this time.

5-mile; 56 riders. I believe this is a record number of riders for the first ride of the season (last year was 54). This in spite of cold, wind, rain, hail, and some sunshine.

10-mile; 41 riders. About as good of conditions as we could expect -- not too hot, not too cold, not too windy.
No change in the top 10. The fight for 10th place is getting tighter, though. Stay tuned for final results after the final ride next week.

5-mile; 50 riders tonight! Great turnout. And, as you might expect, we got some wind just in time for the ride. Temp was great, though. Eli pulled himself into the top 10 with a 1st place finish. Some really fast times, too. Guys had to be under 13:00 to be in the top 10 in raw time.

Hill Climb; 38 riders. Reasonably good conditions. Some wind, but just enough to help keep cool. Not that anybody keeps cool on the hill climb. Painter regained the top position. Mark McLean made a giant leap into the top 10. There's still room for change in the top positions.
